The Jorn Cushion, by British textile artist Margo Selby, was designed as a study of micro patterns on a large scale. The restricted colour pallet is inspired by traditional Japanese indigo dyes and woven in a linear structure using mixed fibres. A technique is used on the heat-shrink yarn to build a tension in the cloth resulting in an unusual embossed-like surface.
