This set of candles holders, belong to the 'Sonja Collection' launched in the 1960's by the legendary ceramic company Søholm on the Danish island of Bornholm. It was designed by Joseph Simon.
It was named after a little charming girl from a very popular children’s TV program at the time called: Sonja from Saxostreet. (Sonja fra Saxogade). 
The whole Sonja collection contains of everything from these candleholders, over to teapot, plates, cups etc.
