This candleholder, has a natural simplicity to it and can be used both as a little vase and a candleholder.

It was made in the late 1960’s at ‘Ravnild’, which was a very successful ceramic studio, started in Odense in Denmark in 1949, by Frederik Ravnild (1910 –1976). After his graduation from The Royal Porcelain Factory in Copenhagen, he worked at the legendary Søholm on Bornholm in Denmark. After his death in 1976, his company was continued, but on a smaller scale and finally closed in 1986.
