The vase still have the original Scheurich sticker. Alois Scheurich and his cousin Fridolin Greulich started a wholesale company in glass, porcelain and ceramics in Schneeberg in 1928. In 1938 the business moved to Kleinheubach and in 1948 they started their own production of household ceramics sold under the name "Scheurich & Greulich.
