This vase has become a classic, since it was designed by Bodo Mans for Bay Ceramics in the late 50's.

Bay Keramik was founded by Eduard Bay in western Germany in 1933. Its production was mainly utilitarian. From the early 1950s, decorative items were introduced. One of the most prominent designers during the late 50s early 60s was Bodo Mans, whose colourful designs were very popular at the time and have become collectables nowadays.
