This little plate was designed by Gunnar Nylund for the Swedish company Rörstrand in the early 1950's.
Gunnar Nylund (1914-1997) was a half Swedish, half Danish ceramics designer and most famously the creative director of the well known Swedish porcelain manufacturer Rörstrand, between 1931 and 1955.
His work has been featured in many large museums around Europe.
